I’m a simple man. Every time I see an HBK figurine, I buy.
That said, this HBK is pretty solid. We’ve had some questionable HBK headscans in the past. But this one is pretty good! The black and silver tights have always been a personal favorite, especially since they were the tights HBK wore in WWF: No Mercy. That said, I like the metallic paint job. I think it was the right call, and adds some shine and luster to this figurine. Only issue is that the hearts look a little faded, especially in the light.
But my favorite part about this figurine: kneepads! After so many figurines, Mattel finally added kneepads to this HBK! It was long overdue. While I never found the lack of kneepads to be an issue, I think it does add to some figurines that should otherwise have them.
Only issue is the belt. I don’t expect too much from title belts. But I think Mattel could’ve done a better job with the smaller details, especially with the blue in the globe and the red outlines.

Nitpicks aside, I’m super glad they rereleased this one. I remember seeing it in the archives, and was jealous I could never get one.
